Description |

Publication
Design |
The
objective is to study the whole task of putting a publication together:
copy, art, headlines, layout and design. To that end, the class will
address issues of writing, editing and artwork as well as the actual
tasks of designing newspapers, newsletters, and posters. The class
will explore technology appropriate to publication management and
production. The approach is hands-on, using Adobe InDesign to produce
designs and layouts. |
|
Practicum COM 280, 281, 282, 283 (.5 cr.) |
Offers authentic production experience and leadership training in one or more of the campus media – radio, video, newspaper, yearbook, and web design. Required of all mass communications majors. |
